Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time to kill:

For everything there is a season ... a time to kill.


Exodus 22:18 View context

God commands us to kill certain people. Among these are witches, male homosexuals, non-virgin brides, blasphemers, sabbath breakers, disobedient children:

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.


Leviticus 20:13 View context

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.


Deuteronomy 22:13-21 View context
